1. Introduction

​

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of cleaning services (“Services”) by Clentec Malta Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By booking our services via phone, email, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

​

Clentec Malta Limited provides cleaning services for both residential and commercial properties in Malta. We work closely with our clients to tailor our services according to their specific needs. Services may include general cleaning, deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and other related activities, subject to agreement.

​

3. Service Availability

​

Services are available Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays unless otherwise agreed. Time slots are indicative and subject to reasonable delays due to prior jobs or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Bookings & Quotations

​

Bookings and service requests may be made via:

  • Phone

  • Email

  • Website

​

Upon receiving a request for a quote, our sales team will conduct a site visit as soon as possible. A custom quotation will be issued based on the visit and client requirements. The client may accept or reject the quotation. Services will only be scheduled following formal acceptance of the quotation.

4.1 Site Visit Requirement

​

All quotations are subject to a mandatory site visit conducted by our sales team. This visit allows us to assess the scope, conditions, and specific client needs accurately.

​

If a client requests to proceed without a site visit, they do so at their own risk. In such cases, Clentec Malta Limited will not be held responsible for inaccuracies in the quotation or changes in the final scope of work.

 

Additionally, the company shall not be held liable for any damages, issues, or conditions that were not disclosed or visible due to the absence of a prior site visit. The company reserves the right to revise the fee if the on-site conditions differ materially from what was communicated.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance incur no charge.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen events, emergencies, or force majeure.

​

6. Access to Property

​

You must ensure safe and legal access to the site. If our team is delayed more than 15 minutes due to restricted access, we may cancel the job and charge in full or apply a waiting fee.

​

7. Client Obligations

​

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information.

  • Ensure water and electricity are available on site.

  • Secure pets and valuables.

  • Disclose any known hazards (e.g. mould, sharps, infestations).

​

8. Pricing & Payment

​

We price according to client needs. Fees are discussed and agreed prior to service.
Accepted payment methods include:

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash

  • Cheque

​

For residential clients, payment is typically due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For business-to-business (B2B) clients, payment is typically handled by invoice, with standard payment terms agreed in advance.

 

Late payments may be subject to an 8% annual interest plus an administrative fee. In certain instances, a pre-deposit may be required from the client prior to the commencement of works to confirm the appointment. This will be communicated at the time of booking or quotation.

9. Complaints & Refunds

​

Complaints must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. We reserve the right to rectify the issue before a refund is considered. Refunds will not be issued for complaints made after the 24-hour window or for issues beyond our control.

​

10. Liability & Damages

​

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear and tear.

  • Any damage caused by our team must be reported within 24 hours.

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the service rendered or insurance coverage, whichever is lower.

​

11. Insurance

​

Clentec Malta Limited holds:

  • Public Liability Insurance

  • Employer’s Liability Insurance

​

We encourage clients to maintain appropriate insurance on their premises and property.

​

12. Health & Safety

​

We comply with Maltese health and safety laws.
Our team may refuse service if the environment is unsafe (e.g. broken glass, exposed wires, biohazards).

​

13. Data Protection & Confidentiality

​

We are committed to GDPR compliance.
Your data is stored securely and only used for service-related purposes.

14. Termination

​

Ongoing contracts can be terminated with a minimum 30-day notice.
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately in case of misconduct, non-payment, or safety concerns.

15. Force Majeure

​

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver services due to causes beyond our control (e.g. weather, illness, accidents, national emergencies).

​

16. Amendments to Terms

​

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. Updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

17. Additional Provisions

​

17.1 Photographic Documentation

​

We reserve the right to take photos of the work areas before and after service to document conditions and verify completion. These photos are stored securely and only used for internal records, training, or to resolve disputes.

​

17.2 Recurring Services & Contractual Obligations

​

For recurring services, a minimum commitment period may apply (e.g., 3 or 6 months). Early termination may incur a cancellation fee unless otherwise agreed in writing.

​

17.3 Cleaning Products & Equipment

​

Clentec Malta Limited uses its own professional-grade cleaning products and equipment unless otherwise agreed. Clients who prefer specific brands or eco-friendly alternatives must inform us in advance and may be required to supply them.

​

17.4 Employee Conduct & Identification

​

All Clentec Malta Limited personnel are uniformed and trained. They are instructed to always behave professionally and respectfully. If you experience otherwise, please report the issue within 24 hours.

​

17.5 Non-Solicitation of Staff

​

Clients agree not to directly employ or contract any Clentec Malta Limited employee introduced through our services for a period of 12 months following their last service, without our written consent. A recruitment fee may apply in such cases.

​

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
