Our window cleaning team recently completed a Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) Award with International Safety Training College, taking part in a fully hands-on training session. Throughout the course, our team worked directly with truck-mounted access platforms, gaining first-hand experience in operating elevated equipment safely and efficiently. Practical Training in Action The training focused on real-life scenarios, allowing our team to: Operate and control MEWP machinery at height Understand safe setup and stabilisation procedures Perform pre-use safety checks and risk assessments Practice safe movement and positioning while elevated By working directly on the equipment, the team developed both confidence and competence in handling machinery used for high-level cleaning tasks. Strengthening Safety Standards Working at height is a specialised service, and safety is non-negotiable. This training ensures our team is fully prepared to carry out window cleaning operations using access platforms while maintaining strict safety protocols.
